Students

We support students’ academic and personal well-being. Through a variety of academic programs and supports, extra-curricular activities and community involvement, we are committed to our students’ positive experience in school.

Academic support

Classroom programming is differentiated to meet student needs using diagnostic assessments for literacy and numeracy. Regular case conferences between teachers, special education teachers, and administration also are used to help identify areas that students may be struggling with to provide interventions. Special Education Resource Teacher provides support to teachers and students through: academic testing, individual education plans, programming suggestions, direct interventions for students and programs for students with special needs.
